Draging image from viewer into other app?

Is it possible to drag image from viewer as file path into text field in other apps or as an image into graph apps etc.?
Or always I must switch to browser mode before?

- Outcoming D&D doesn't work anyway from the “
View” mode.
- This has been requested ¦ discussed several times already, you might use the Search here…
- It works from the the browser, right, for instance from a thumb-nail to the window of another graphic APP.
