High quality zoom

I tried Gwenview on Linux (KDE) the other day, and I was very impressed with its high quality zoom. It had a bunch of ways to zoom pictures, one of them was called "bilinear" I think. It would be wonderful if I could have that on Windows. Most of my pictures look like pixelated garbage when they're automatically zoomed in full screen mode.

You can enable such thing as "Reduce" option, under some options menu... it makes image look perfect on XnView ... though it is realy SLOW...

I find the high quality zooming in XnView too slow.
It is probably better to use/show at normal quality first and then the high quality.

'High quality' is bilinear. There is an option for 2 passes (fast first, high quality then) in Options>View>Fullscreen.
Here is an interesting thread about speed improvements for high-quality.

Ah thanks for the redirect.
I hope that delayed high quality will be added for normal normal view as well.
