I used the following in add text:
"*.*|WMV MOV MAX"

When I pasted a second time, the seperator character was corrupted inside input box- it changed to a "nul" string or something.
I saw same…

Hello B. !
• Do you mean that a string in the clipboard has been changed¦damaged ?
- I see often a similar issue when I edit resources in
ResourceHacker, the inactive "Art" quotes #147
“ and #148
” are changed into keyboard quotes
" " that indeed causes an error !
• However, this doesn't occur with other programmes, let's say usual text-editors.
- Hence, I think that some programmes can perform faulty calls about the copy¦paste operations with the clipboard

Perhaps, but I think it more likely that character isn't stored properly in xnview.ini correctly- so it can't be rememebered right for subsequent pastes.

Odd…

Weird… That character exists in all charsets and fonts, even in the crappy MS Sans Serif as :
| #124 - Vertical bar, according to the M$ specs.

Hello !
• Suggestion : Since the pipe #124
| is used in the programme itself,
maybe could we use the dashed one #166
¦ as separator ?

It was standard
AltGr+6 Alpha on the old IBM French keyboards instead
| !
- I've still one here just close me ! Tireless (1kg !).
- But this is not a problem to type
Alt+0166, isn't it ? I use this a lot in some translations instead "/" to save room in narrow controls and to get clearer strings…
