adding a new directshow extension for thumbinals in windows (and then in xnview)

Make a reg file like this, and add it to your registry (simple doible click)

(I using gomplayer so you see gomplayer file and so on...)

example OGM.REG

Code: Select all

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ogm]
@="GomPlayer.ogm"
"PerceivedType"="video"
"Content Type"="video/ogm"
"GomPlayer_bak"="ogmfile"

[

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ogm\ShellEx]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ogm\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}]
@="{c5a40261-cd64-4ccf-84cb-c394da41d590}"
You can set any extension, when you add this to the registry press F5 or rebuild thumbnails.
