This is a thread of the feature "multi page file".
----
I wonder, because I didn't enter any directory into the field "Directory".. but it created a PDF file anyway.
But where does it save it?
----
The button "Options" should be closer to field "Format ".
----
Will there be a toolbar button for feature "Multi page file..." in future?

If output file already exists, it overwrites it without any comment!
There should be at least a warning message if output file already exists.
-----------------------------
While writing output file, xnview is instable and the whole system is blocked.
I can't open windows explorer or any other programs ...
converting window looks like this while writing output file:
(keine Rückmeldung) means no response. Windows thinks that the application has crashed because it doesn't response...
Furthermore, dialog elements should be disabled while writing output file!
Already…

Hello !
• Without any output dir, the file is saved in its source folder.
• A button can be set already in 1.90 Alpha 2. Please, see the Options.
- However, you must provide an external icon for it. There is no icon-set yet (except my own test ones…)
• When the file exists already, we might choose the behaviour in an appropriate dropdown-list which is missing currently…

"Create" Button should be disabled as long as there are no entries in listbox.

In Beta 5, with 'Multi-page file':
- XnView writes over a previous file without prompting/warning

- I agree that 'Options' button should be just near Format
- While creating a document, XnView interface is not updated (to check: maximize/minimize another window in front) -> a realtime progress-bar would be great (a simple timer-mouse symbol would be OK).
-> New

Fixed in Beta 6 (ie: dialog window appears).

Other suggestions not implemented
-> Postponed.
