A way to sort gifs would be nice: Animated, Multi-Image, Fix
Perhaps easiest way: Add "Infos" in Detailview which can be used for this Info and others. Sorting by this Column then solves the Problem.
Another way, only a help: Properties = "50x50,256 (animated)" or "... (multi image)"
... Interesting for someone else?
Thanks!

An other way, is to use categories (already implemented in Xnview).brotondi wrote:A way to sort gifs would be nice: Animated, Multi-Image, Fix

Animated cursors are easily distinguishable from regular cursors: They have different file extensions (ANI vs. CUR). With formats like GIF you won't know unless you view the file. The same goes for TIFFs or PSDs: Only when a document is opened will XnView tell the user that “this image contains multiple pages. Please use ‘Previous page’ and ‘Next page’ to navigate between the pages.”
XnView needs an animation overlay icon and/or multi-page indicator*. (In ThumbsPlus they're called “decorations”.)

And also---

… and also :…Multi-page documents
• TIFF
• DjVu
*.ICO
*.DCX
*.LDF (Luratech)…
• When discussing about the A-PNGs, I noticed already that it's the same extension,
hence it's impossible to distinguish them from the simple PNG pics

- An overlay icon should do the trick, without flooding the thumb nail bottom,
since the most concerned formats have not any Exif and the like…
• Well, three pages more here in sight (at least) to find the right icon !

I'm counting on your help to find every last one of 'em.Clo wrote:… and also :…Multi-page documents

No one wants the thumbnails to be cluttered with info icons. Users should be able to turn them on and off individually.Clo wrote:An overlay icon should do the trick, without flooding the thumb nail bottom,

Oh yes, it's going to be a wild ride.Clo wrote:Well, three pages more here in sight (at least) to find the right icon !![]()
