Bug: can not select area with 1 px width or heigth

Post by Troken »

I try to make a selection in images with either 1 px higth or 1 px width, but the selection area only disappears. The same happens with a 1x1 px selection.

Have not checked if this is the case in older versions.

:) Hello !

• The minimal selection is and was 2×2 pixels.
- I had requested that a while ago because in old versions it was more, there are threads about that.
- IIRC, it seems that technical reasons prevent to select 1×1 pixel, even blown up to a very large scale.
- In example, you can't in M$-Paint (2×2 px.) and get 1×2 px. in GFIE Pro, able to scale the image up to ×20…

If you work with icons (e.g. 16x16 px) it's not a minor issue. :-|

But this problem is not new to version 1.93, it has been reported before, e.g. "One pixel selection not possible".
