Panasonic LX3 raw files - ISO still displays as 0 in v1.95.4

Post by Guest »

1) Panasonic LX3 raw files - ISO still displays as 0 in v1.95.4

this error was reported first time here for 1.95.3

http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=16366

2) .RW2 is now recognized as raw file - thank you

3) this issue still remains : also (however I am not sure if it is a bug or feature) - there
is a tag {Focal Length 35mm} to display effective 35mm focal length , it is not working either w/ RW2 files, while tag {Focal Length} is working... for example I can see that {Focal Length} displays "5.1" (5.1 mm @ wide angle which should be 24mm effective 35mm focal length), but {Focal Length 35mm} displays "" (empty string, instead of "24")... is it fixable ? I used "{" and "}" instead of angled brackets here.

note that ExifTool by Phil Harvey and PhotoMe are reporting ISO from .RW2 files properly... means that it is not hidden in some unusual way from 3rd parties software.

I hope this gets fixed as I'm looking at buying the Panasonic FZ28-K camera for Christmas and it creates .RW2 files.

Dear Pierre,

did you have a chance to find out why XnView can't detect the ISO value in .RW2 files from Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 camera ?
