Are there any plans to do so? And if, when will it be available?
Otherwise I'd like to have this thread moved to the suggestions thread.

Re: Categories and Tree/Favorites view
With 1.96 on Vista Ultimate.
With 1.97 on Win7 its working.
After upgrading to 1.97 on Vista it is working too, so it seems an old bug which is fixed.
Many thanks!

Imagine you're having images with assigned categories. Deleting an image in the tree view removes the image, you cannot access it anymore.
If you are searching or filtering images by categories, the deleted images appear in the result screen, but ...

AND/OR operations in categories
Hi
Is there a way to select images according to logical operations like searching for images with assigned categories "rabbit" AND "horse", or "rabbit" OR "horse", or ("rabbit" OR horse") AND "motorcycle" ? Selecting "rabbit" and "horse" just results in all images containing a rabbit OR a horse OR ...

Dear Pierre
Does this mean XnViewMP is the right choice if I want a future proof solution? Or do you still plan to enhance XnView?
The other thing I'd like to mention - during my work I had the impression that this behaviour could also be a bug.
When I switch from the tree view tab to the ...

Re: Categories not updated
Dear Pierre
I mean the category is not listed at all in the image preview area, when tab is set to categories. Only after a new start of XnView.

Categories and Tree/Favorites view
Hi
I'm currently creating and assigning categories. My Xnview screen sows tree/favorites/categories tabs on the left, images folder overview on the top right, and image detail view in the lower right part.

Hi
I'm using Xnview 1.96.2 in a network configuration (NAS, Win7, Vista). The Xnview DB as well as my picture library is stored on a central drive (NAS) which is accessable by all clients in the network. Basically this works fine and I do not know if the described error has anything to do with the ...
