Hi, What is the best type of resampling to convert images to jpg? What could be the equivalent of "bicubic (best for smooth gradients) of photoshop?"

Hi, I have a TIFF image with a depth of 32 bits and I want to turn it into jpeg. Is there any way to remove only the alpha channels?
I used the -extract parameter but this removes all channels.

I'm using nconvert v5.80.
