I am using XnViewMP to categorize my collection of video clips. So far it has done a great job and handled all of the following:
m2ts, mov, mp4, mpg and wmv. However when I try to review some of my avi files I get sound but no picture.

The same avi files play back perfectly in XnView Classic ...

Have just been testing again. Don't quite understand the behaviour but it is better than I described in my original message.

On my last test:

In XnView MP select video file with categories (set 1) and associated .xmp. Add some new categories (set 2) then update files from catalog ...

I have tested this issue now for XnView MP 0.87 Beta1, Beta2 and Beta3. Unfortunately, for me, for some reason the above problem still exists.

I've being trying to use the 'Import and sort' feature to move and rename video files.
What I'd like to do is rename and sort into new subfolders by file modified date.
Tried on simple test folder with one layer of subfolders containing *.avi, *.mov, *.mpg, *.mts files.
Only the *.mov files ...
