I just found out how to change the language settings: it is 'nearest neighbour'.

I think rendering is the same as resampling, no? (I do not work with the English version, I translated, but I found it on the picture on http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/changedpi.html)

sorry, I did not realize there were options...
I never changed anything I think. the standard values where always good enough for me.
When pressing shift+s, I can see the following options:
- keep ratio (activated)
- keep document size (deactivated)
- Rendering (activated): closest value
