Hello, friends of XnView.

Recently I figured out a nice Windows batch call:

start %~d0\bin\XnView\XnView /fullscreen *.gif *.jp*g *.png *.mp4

I would put XnView portable on a stick under X:\bin (X = drive of stick), the above command into some X:\Play.cmd and XnView plays all files on this ...

I am currently using XnView 2.32

I have enabled the General/File Operations/Use companion . I have added PP3, ORF, CR2 and XMP to Browser/File List/Custom files .

Note, however, that is just a suggestion yet... not that anyone gets frustrated trying it out

Just a note for "Companion_xx". To represent the relationships between JPG/TIFF/ORF/CR2 I have to use 30 entries in XnView:

Companion_00=jpg:tiff
Companion_01=tiff:jpg
Companion_02=jpeg:tiff
Companion_03=tiff:jpeg
Companion_04=jpg:tif
Companion_05=tif:jpg
Companion_06=jpeg:tif
Companion_07=tif ...

In XnView 1.98, you hide image type, but ALL image files will be hidden????


Sorry, now I found how to exclude ORFs in XnViewMP. Actually it is implemented more clearly than in XnView. I was confused that the Line "Images" is grayed out. For what is it good then ...

Hi,

to quickly preview images I need two things:
(1) filter out Raw files from the thumbnail view, and
(2) zoom to 100% with a left- or right mouse click.

I was able to disable ORFs with XnView, but in XnViewMP this feature has disappeared. I cannot even hide the "images" type; it's grayed out ...
