If one modifies a group of photos using "Tools->Metadata->Edit IPTC/XMP". and sets the create date/time from Exif date/time taken, it is set incorrectly.
Select a group of photos
Select "Tools->Metadata->Edit IPTC/XMP" from menu
Click on the "Date/Time" tab
Click on the radio button and select ...

From the "Metadata->Edit IPTC/XMP" menu. Selecting "Date/Time" and clicking on the second radio button, and then selecting "EXIF Date/Time Taken[|Digitized|Modified] (if exists)" and then "Save" ===> results in the correct time being set in IPTC.
