Do you use Sort by>Name (numeric)?
I leave everything in file-name sorting. Then if I want them in a new order I change it but then try to remember to change the sorting back to file-name because I probably would not remember.

I was trying to find the answer to this also. I searched the forum and found this.
The folder shows the images in one order and the full screen viewer clicks through them in a different order. They would not have to match necessarily but it would be nice to be able to control the order you see them ...
