I mean cutoff empty background around the .ai object.

It would be useful if xnview could "normalize" .ai thumbs like "ST Thumbnails Ex" does !

I like if this could be done by xnview ... but,
as I see the only way I know to convert EPS to AI is by the use of Adobe Illustrator,
I ask you why it is so hard to do.

Yes it seems to be NO difference between "thumb" and "icon" options.
