EPS to AI conversion

I like if this could be done by xnview ... but,
as I see the only way I know to convert EPS to AI is by the use of Adobe Illustrator,
I ask you why it is so hard to do.

XnView doesn't support vector format..., can only convert vector to picture

Writing support for Vector formats is a lot of work, this is why XnView only supports vector formats via AFPL Ghostscript or the CADSoft Plugin.
