Re: Problem with importing-exporting .tif files

If possible could you please attach an example image with the problem (or part of an image if privacy or file size is an issue), preferably in a ZIP to ensure that the file is original. There may then be a delay before someone can look at it.

Re: Load action issue

If I understood your problem correctly: I'm not sure if a .bat file can be loaded for reuse, you may have to export each set of actions using the alternative option to save a script by clicking the small blue folder icon at the bottom of the screen. You would then have to load and run each script se...

Re: Load action issue

You have clicked on the small yellow folder icon at the bottom-left of the window to load actions you have exported for NConvert?

If so, as far as I know you can only load either Big.bat or Small.bat as XnConvert can only output one set of processed images when it is run...

Or do I misunderstand?

Re: How can I batch-"Save for web" my images before compress in XnView?

I have 400 images ready to load to my webshop. I want to do “Save For Web”, because it should delete all metadata and xmtp headers, which ain’t useful and makes the images heavier, I am told. Afterwards I have in mind to compress the images in XnView, because here it should be possible to batch man...

Re: Using a xbs file as an input to nConvert?

So I have a xbs file which has the complete convert configuration I want to use. Can use this file as a input to nConvert? It doesn't seem that I can. I had also hoped to use the export to batch function, but that doesn't include any of the output format options. It only included the resize options...

Re: o flag, %, $EXIF:DateTaken[YYMMDDdate format] and strftime

At a quick look in the first instance, I think you need to include the extension in the -o term, at least I normally do. And if you are using a batch file rather than the command line, you need to double the % symbol to %% to 'escape' the character in Windows cmd.exe. I'm not familiar with EXIF but ...

Convert image files to multiple outputs

The following batch file, developed in response to a request in the XnConvert section of the forum for a way of creating multiple versions of the files in multiple folders of images directly, may be of wider interest. A batch file that processes a single source folder of images should only require s...

Re: Convert image files to multiple outputs

This is the NConvert code I developed in response to the original poster's request. The script, saved as a batch file .bat, for each folder of source images named 'TIFF' in the folder 'Images' creates three versions of the images in that folder, HiRes, MidRes and Thumbs, each version placed in a sub...

Re: PDF file name with french accent letters

x64 version of NConvert? With same ghostcript version? I am having difficulty reproducing now, possibly something in my workflow was relevant, or possibly I became confused... And with the number of variables potentially involved, it is not really practical to spend more time at the moment. You are...

Re: Command line to convert all @Profile.png files inside many subfolders to @Profile.jpg

I believe I now have a full solution to your original problem using For /R which processes files recursively: For /R "TestnConv" %%Y In (\"@Profile.png") Do ( nconvert -out jpeg -q 80 "%%Y" ) If you save the above code as a batch file .bat it should process all the PNG files in the folder TestnConv ...

Re: prn file problem

When you print to file you don't have an option to print as a PDF file? If not, installing a printer driver utility such as CutePDF should add the option to 'print' any printable file as a PDF.

Otherwise, this link from a very quick Google search may possibly be helpful.

Re: PDF file name with french accent letters

It seems that it is not possible to convert a PDF file to a BMP file when the filename has a french accent letter "éçà...". The report shows that the name is not properly translated to the GS DLL, and so the DLL does not find the PDF file. Confirmed for NConvert 7.20 :( But NConvert 6.35 does open ...

Re: Command line to convert all @Profile.png files inside many subfolders to @Profile.jpg

It worked. Thank you cday. With a little time to spare I've just done some research which may be useful to you if you wish to continue the command line approach, either now or if you feel motivated to continue later. First I made a quick Google search using 'batch file to process files recursively'...
