Re: Batch Clean EXIF and add copyrights - what am I doing wrong?

OK, here I am again. :) I am using "Batch convert" to process some photos and I'd like to clean EXIF and than add only Credits and Copyright info to them. So, here is how I do it: I choose my list of actions for action tab . First is "Clean metadata" and the second one is IPTC IIM/XMP, where I ente...

Re: Display PDF with Transparency

Thanks for that info, I had the latest Ghostscript 9.27 installed with home-brew and symlinked. I removed that and installed Ghostscript 9.23 but to no avail. I'm on Mac HS by the way. I know Adobe Acrobat Pro can show transparency but I'm not a fan of Adobe. It's actually quite difficult to find a...

Re: Display PDF with Transparency

Hi, how do I display a PDF that has no background, I don't want to see the white background, I would like to see the checkerboard grid that indicates transparency if at all possible. Can this be done? if so, how would I go about setting XNViewMP up please Googling quickly, it is possible that there...

Re: XnView MP stretches image

Well, I did measure them and they're the same. :( In trying to figure out why they look different to me, I changed the background color in both programs but that wasn't the problem. Finally, I put the two programs side by side with reduced windows and I found out that whichever image is on the left...

Re: NConvert recursive processing

Problem is I know bugger all about scripting in bat files etc I sympathise, I never expected to use it myself and my limited knowledge was hard won, it can be a steep learning curve and very unforgiving... You could try Googling 'for loop /d cmd' and see if you can make any sense of it: the code re...

Re: Nconvert batch processing

you can make a script to process all subfolders If you are using NConvert in Windows, you need to use a simple batch file .bat consisting of a For /D loop that runs you existing command line for each directory in turn... Note: I'm not sure whether that will work for more than one sub-directory level.

Re: XnView MP stretches image

Further to my post above, and to Xntriq's post above:

The attached image of a circle, drawn in Libre Office Draw, should enable the accurate display of images to be verified, tested in XnView MP 0.93.

Re: XnView MP stretches image

I opened a TIFF file in XnView MP and thought it looked "longer" than normal. So I used "open with" to open the same file in my editor and the two images are quite different. In the example posted, it's very easy to see because the eyes are approximately at the same level but the chin in XnView MP ...

Re: Opening TG4 File

I have tried to open .TG4 file in the XnView Software. However it is not opening the file. It is showing an error INGR: Data type code not supported. I tried in XnConvert as well. It is not working. It has identified the file as Intergraph Raster bitmap. I have to convert a set of TG4 to PDF. Any h...

How can one change the display of a selected / marked thumbnail in the browser? E.g. change the blue frame, make the frame bigger, replace the blue color with another one or make the frame bigger?
Doesn't View > Thumbnail size enable the thumbnail to be enlarged, or am I misunderstanding?

Re: How do I change zoom management?

How do I change the zoom management? As of now it is logarithmic, increasing with bigger steps the more zoomed in. Is it possible to change the behavior of the zooming so that each mouse wheel step zooms in a fixed level, for example +/- 15% zoom regardless of how zoomed in the image is at the mome...

Re: Watermark option

There is another watermark tool in batch converting dialog Yes, and that is entirely appropriate... :D But in the XnView Classic editor, the watermark function is on the Image menu, consistent with other related editing options: that seems like the natural place to look for it. However in the XnVie...

Does anyone know how to remove metadata on MP?

Maybe IPTC/XMP is metadata?
I'm pretty sure it is, so seems to be just a different interface...

You should be able to confirm with a simple test, but:

Re: How to remove metadata

In the tutorial I'm given, there is an option edit - metadata - remove all metadata. Whereas when I use it, I can't see metadata under edit. Screenshots of both included. The top screenshot shows XnView MP, the lower screenshot XnView Classic... I don't use metadata myself, but possibly that option...
