I come from ACDsee 5 ... this was the latest version that supported the descript.ion files that i use from many years.

when you have seen an image, update the properties column with image widthXheight
also if the "Scan file headers in folders" is disabled (this is the first choice)

only a little bug : when you click on the "comment" column (that read from the file descript.ion)
the XnviewMP sort by the "filename" and not by the "comment"
OS: win7 pro 64bit
