The bug occurs only when the canvas-resized image larger than its source. In case of smaller output, the output is cropped correctly as it should.

Batch processing bug -- canvas resize with TIFF output
I used batch processing to apply canvas resize on my PNG files and choose TIFF as output format. The size of TIFF files are remain the same as canvas resize never apply.

I've recheck again and found that the bug occur when I load a script (I not use script, just need some of my preset commands appear on the transformation list). The script originally save to PNG but I unchecked the script and manually assign to have TIFF output. Therefore, the bug not ...

Batch processing bug -- saves to worng format
I used batch processing to edit my PNG files and choose TIFF as output format. However, the output files was always saved to JPEG.
