Good morning,

i did some tests again.

It is related to acronis recovery files in my case.
I did a recovery from one of my picture folders and tried to rename them => error message
Copied them to a new created folder => job done without problems


If you have time please check it and place a note ...

with that solution not a real big one one, but strange.

Is it possible that this is caused by creating this folders with an image file from acronis ?
All of these were reinstalled after a HDD crash.

that works.
Copied one pic to a different folder and it works.
It also works with more than one.
But why, did i miss something in the description ?

Yes, pop up box with " error during renaming".

As i wrote in my last post some will be renamed, and some not, ending with that pop up box.

The feature for renaming a single picture is also involved.

i tried all of the settings ( date, exif, ascending, desending and so on ) and with every setting it is not working.

The company i work for has 1.98.9 i think and with this version everything works fine regardless wich setting i take.

Hello @ all,

i use ver. 1.99.5 and with this version the batch renaming feature is not working.
Everytime an error pop up is shown.

Versions befor 1.99.5 behave correct.

Any suggestions ?
