Yes it plays in a preview tab and also opens in a browser tab(window) when menu Open is clicked and also in full screen mode. However video thumbnail shows no image of video only image of film strip icon. Click below thumbnail for viewing.

No Thumbnails for Videos in browser view
I have no thumbnails for videos in browser view. I have xnviewmp 0.61 for Linux(Unix) OS, and also gstreamer plugins installed by default in Linux Mint 16. I can see videos in preview when I click blank thumbnail and also when I click open or full screen, but no thumbnails to view in browser. Also ...
