No Thumbnails for Videos in browser view

I have no thumbnails for videos in browser view. I have xnviewmp 0.61 for Linux(Unix) OS, and also gstreamer plugins installed by default in Linux Mint 16. I can see videos in preview when I click blank thumbnail and also when I click open or full screen, but no thumbnails to view in browser. Also when I try to rebuild thumbnails in Settings-Browser-Database-Rebuild thumbnails for video folder I get 0 Bytes. This is for all video format types. Have also set to create video thumbs at 10% of video. Would surely like to find a way to view video thumbnails in the browser. Heard there once was a ffmpeg plugin for xnview but I think it was for Windows OS. I have ffmpeg, and ffmpeg plugin for gstreamer, installed by default also. Running out of ideas. Help surely appreciated.

When you click in browser on a video file, XnView play it?

Yes it plays in a preview tab and also opens in a browser tab(window) when menu Open is clicked and also in full screen mode. However video thumbnail shows no image of video only image of film strip icon. Click below thumbnail for viewing.





Photos in browser all show perfect thumbnails.

Right, currently thumbnail for video files are not extracted on linux

This problem is still an issue with xnviewmp 0.64 on Ubuntu. Any idea when it is solved?
