The new ICC profile settings are wonderful, now real color management would be possible with XnView in theory. But for real it is not usable at all. With ICC activated it will take about 10-15 seconds in fullscreen mode to go from one picture to the next. Is there any improvement in sight in the ...

"Show information": separate for viewer/fullscreen
Hi Pierre,
would it be possible to decide separately for the viewer and for fullscreen whether or not the "information" will be displayed? I would like to display certain picture information in the viewer but not in fullscreen. Right now it is only possible to display the information in the viewer ...

Long version of "day of the week"
In the thumbnail view I let XnView show the date taken of a picture:
<Date Taken [a d.m.Y H:M:S]> = "We 11.02.2009 13:08:00"
Is there a way to use the long version of the day of the week, like "Wednesday" instead of only "We"? I tried "aa" or "dddd" instead of "a", none worked.

Re: Exif "ISO" value always zero when reading Sams
I noticed one odd result. If the camera is set to generate a RAW (DNG) file and JPG file for every shot, the EXIF data for the DNG file always shows the sensitivity ("ISO speed ratings") as zero. However the value in the matching JPG is correct.

These values are in EXIF Makernotes, currently you can not use these fields, but i'll add them
Do you mean that the ISO value from JPG- and PEF-files out of Pentax cams are stored in different exif tags? I compared both type of files with Phil Harveys exiftool and they both seemed to be stored in ...

Re: Changing text for color rating?
Fine, but in which file do I have to change it? I looked in the xnview.ini as well as in the language file exif_de.lng but could not find it in either one. Is there another file available to edit?xnview wrote:Yes, you must change ColorLabel-0, ColorLabel-1 ..., RatingLabel-0, ...

Changing text for color rating?
As I remember it was possible to change the wording of the color ratings somewhere in one of the .ini-files, but I do not find it anymore. Is it still possible and where do I have to chnage it?
