Exactly. It's the edge or line running through the nose. It's the View -> Zoom High Quality setting. When it's enabled, you see it. When it's not, there is still a very, very subtle line there, but much harder to see. Zooming through even steps with + and - work fine. It's just the Fit to Window in ...

I'm using 0.79, I've mentioned this issue before but didn't have an example at the time. Here is a good one.
