Re: Maybe a bug - Fullscreen issue on Mac

Sadly, I don't currently have access to a Mac. This is the behavior I've seen on three separate Mac's though. I'll see if I can hunt down those files for you, but it may be a while.

Functions in Info display

If you go to tools->Settings, and click on "View" then the "Info" tab, there is a box for information displayed, which seems highly customizable. I'm curious if there is a way to input mathematical equations into this box so that I can display on the fulscreen image a calculation...

Focus Point overlay

Is there a way to display on a photograph an overlay of which focus point the camera decided to use to gain focus? (I'm shooting with a Nikon D7200, if that makes a difference)

Thanks!

0.86 (Mac): Click and drag copies instead of moves

XnView: MP 0.86 - 64 bit OS: Mac 64bit When clicking and dragging images from the browser window to the file tree, the images are copied to the new location instead of moved there, even though the new location is on the same physical drive. Effect: Must delete photos from original location, adding a...

Re: Maybe a bug - Fullscreen issue on Mac

Yes, space for cmd_fullscreen. I've setup my hotkeys very "gameresque" essentially using WADS for my most commonly used functions. Space for fullscreen, a for previous file, d for next file, e for zoom in, q for zoom out, etc. etc. This allows my left hand to stay in one spot on the keyboa...

Re: Copy filename without extension to clipboard.

Thanks all for replying. Actually, I already am using AutoHotKey, and have that script written. However, I just figured that since the rename dialog box doesn't automatically select the extension, that there might be an easier way already programmed that I didn't know about. I figured that I may be ...

Maybe a bug - Fullscreen issue on Mac

I've setup the shortcut keys so that hitting the spacebar opens an image to fullscreen. On a PC, this allows me to quickly toggle between Fullscreen and the browser window. However on a Mac, it'll fullscreen, but when I press the spacebar again to go to the browser it seems to close the fullscreen i...

Copy filename without extension to clipboard.

Is there a way to quickly and easily copy the filename without the extension to the clipboard? The two methods I've found are by hitting F2, then ctrl+c, then esc. Which successfully copies the filename without the extension but is 3 key presses. The other I've found is by assigning "filename(s...

Missing Exif Data Pane

So, quite a while ago I clicked the x in the upper right corner of the exif data pane (as well as the preview pane, and about 3 other panes I don't remember) Essentially I now have a folder tree that goes all the way to the bottom of the screen, as well as a browser window. I'm hoping to get the Exi...

Saving User Settings

Is there a way to save all my settings or a configuration file I can copy so that all my hotkeys, mouse button configurations, views, etc. are easily loaded with a fresh install of XnViewMP?

Re: Copy Filename shortcut

Awesome, thanks! Sorry that I didn't see that before posting. Was confusing that it's called "selected filename" in one mode, but just "filename" in the other.

Anyway, no big deal! I've got it working now! Loving it! XnViewMP is great!

Copy Filename shortcut

I see there is a shortcut called "selected filename(s)" under browse mode, but this shortcut doesn't exist in View mode. For me, it'd be great to get a shortcut key that copies the filename - preferably without the extension - to the clipboard when I'm in View Mode. Think there is any chan...

Re: Add "Refresh" to the context menu

Well, I just tried F5. No dice.

I had XnView MP open, and then I plugged in a external hard drive. XnView MP didn't see the hard drive, and I couldn't refresh the list. Had to close XnView MP and reopen it. Once I did that, the hard drive showed up.

Ability to move either the preview pane, or the "data" popup

When in fullscreen the preview pane is on the lower right when zoomed into a photo. I'll often move my mouse to down to the preview pane, but go too far to the edge and the data window with exif data etc. pops up, which hides the preview pane. It'd be great to have the functionality to move either o...
