OMFG. Bug was reproduced now.
I don't sure that xnviewmp is guilty of this.
There xnviewmp and Tor Browser hangs, and after some time Krusader (2.4.0-beta3) hangs too.

Image folder is Tor Browser's "Downloads".
xnviewmp and krusader disapears when i kill tor browser's process.

What is the file with extension .XnViewSort in the image folder?

Thank you for registering to the forum and your request, Bill. Before trying to analyze your problem I'd ask you to update to the latest version of XnView MP, which is version 0.84 .

ok. I installed v0.84
It seems that this version correctly disappers from process list when closed and it doesn't ...

0.72 Linux: xnviewmp touches folder (changes files' time)

Hello.

I like xnviewmp as good linux analog of Acdsee . I used version 0.64 ok. But version 0.72 sometime corrupts file time, change it to current time.
I noticed that it happens when closed xnviewmp hangs long time in the background.
I often use sortinng by time, so i want to disable this unwanted ...
