Oki. Considered to add? I mean it is no big deal breaker if I get used to do EVERYTHING through the app since we can hid it.. just.. you know.. organised..

To be fair. I did abandon XnView for some time and gave it another try today. I understand now how sidecars works on gifs and png. I move/edit/delete file, the sidecard follows -> neat.

All I wonder is this: Since I see that it is just fine to put sidecart to a different folder -> it still keeps ...

Just a slight update: I've run this: View -> Update catalogue from files. It seems like all the categories are holding together. Even after a restart. Can someone explain me what the app didn't do that before for me(the update of files)? I had to find it and click it myself.

Drag and paste seems sometimes to work(1%) and mostly they don't.

Mhm. Or actually they are kept in the old folder with 0kb file.. so if I move it back then they are attached back to the file. I had a lot of struggle and there is that thing that makes separate file ...

Alt+m works for all kind of files but is slow and not intuitive(I think it is only in this situation it updates db). Drag and paste seems sometimes to work(1%) and mostly they don't.
