I have tried the denoise filter on a few photos but it doesn't seem to do anything.

thank you @cday for the hint. I will try the filter tonight when I get home, cannot do it now at work.

There is no menu item for Adobe Photoshop plugins in the menu; actually I saw that in some screenshot and was looking exactly for it before I posted my question. So I thought perhaps it's not ...

- How can I do noise reduction (denoise) with XnViewMP on Mac?
- Does XnViewMP on Mac support plugins?
- Are there denoise plugins that work with XnViewMP?
