Wrong paths in ".desktop" file for Linux
Hi
Trying to launch Linux version of XNConvert thru the ".desktop" file, I saw there is an error in that file.
All strings "/home/pierre/Desktop" should be changed to "~/bin" (assuming XnConvert is extracted in "bin" users folder.
Thanks

AppImage crash on launch
AppImage "XnView" previous versions was running fine in openSUSE Tumbleweed. I downloaded today last "XnView MP" AppImage version, but it crashed with:

But I checked that even exported to HEIC version from Gwenview file, is not readable by XnConvert. So it's not a Samsung files issue, is an HEIC files issue.

Don't recognize Samsung HEIC files
I have a lot of HEIC files from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone, that are recognized by Gwenview, GIMP, Krita ... however XNConvert even doesn't show thumbnails.
Can I help to fix this issue?

Re: "Open with" does nothing after assigning an application
Perfect, the patch now works, thank you very much.
Hopefully the problem will be solved, because it's an additional work to have to do this process for every installation.

Re: "Open with" does nothing after assigning an application
It is now clear. I have done it and, with and without %U as parameter, it opens the program (GIMP) but not the image selected to open.

Re: "Open with" does nothing after assigning an application
There must be an errata .... you put "gwenview", should not be "xnview"?. If not, I don't understand what's the point
When do I launch xnview with that script?

Re: I am disappointed with the forum support
The result is that the user is left with a response from XNview that does not solve the problem. Should all Linux users use Ubuntu, XCFE or GNome to get help?

I am disappointed with the forum support
Hello, I intend this message to be constructive criticism, but I don't know if I will succeed.
After giving a lot of thought to my problem with XNviewMP in Linux and looking for similar incidents in the XNview forum, I have realised that it seems that Linux users, and specifically with KDE Plasma ...
