On Mac Os Mojave deleting pictures on external drives is not possible. The files disappear in XnViewMP but actually they remain on the external drive. When you restart MP the files are there again.
File or folder renaming works fine.

When I add new photos to a folder they appear automatically in MP. But fullscreen filmbar is unfortunately not updated so new photos are not shown there.
