Hi,
On Classic .ini there is no [Start] label (neither debug=0, line). Inserted at the top of the .ini file with no effect.
On XnviewMP that label exist. Have changed to "2" and appears on background a debug screen. I can copy/paste this text to send it to Pierre.

Please, let me know where insert the "debug=2" line on the .ini file. I guess this create a log file on the Xnview folder.

Some post ago for Classic and now on MP with same behaviour.
Environment: Synology NAS with Active Directory. Computers with Windows 7 -10 Pro. Latest version XnView and full updated. Gigabit LAN wired. 3 devices over the network (Server + 3 PC).

Same problem here. It is seems to be working on reverse:
When you uncheck "Show companion" it hides the jpg "Master" files instead the raw ones (CR2 and ARW than i added on companion menu)
To show the JPG "Show companion" must be ON and then go to "Custom Filter--Exclude" and add the Raw extensions

Can not make the Xnview MP work to show and expand a UNC Folder.
I have my photos on a NAS. I browse on Windows 10 the folder (\\NAS\Photos\2022\) , open it and double-click on one photo. Xnview open the photo and can gop back the explorer and show selected folder but nos shows on the side ...
