png converted to bmp rgb565, windows cannot preview bmp files

XnView MP: 1.8.0 x64
OS: Windows 10 21H2 x64

png is converted to bmp rgb565, windows cannot preview bmp files, and mspaint cannot open bmp. xnviewer can open bmp normally.
photoshop can convert normally.

To reproduce:
1. open the PNG file with xnviewmp
2. save as bmp rgb565

I think it is a problem caused by WIC (Windows Imaging Component).
Mspaint decodes AVIF through WIC. WIC decoding AVIF causes color difference.

XnView: MP 1.6.5 - 64 bit
OS: Windows10 64bit

Select SKIP options when batch conversion. If delete original file is checked, it will not be skipped even if the output file already exists.
In other words, it will be processed once, even if the output file already exists.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.4 . Please check and confirm the bug fix here.


The bad news is images are still very slightly scaled (99.x%). see display1.png.
First zoom in and then zoom out and the display will ok. see display2.png
