It doesn't look like the Mac installer is up yet. I will wait until it has been released and then try it out. Thanks for the update info!

Re: Folder renamed in file system
I just tried it with a single file, but when I choose "export" for one of the "blank page images" a message pops up that says "this is not a picture file"

Folder renamed in file system
Hi,
I'm using XnView MP v 1.0 64 bit on a Mac M1. I had applied a bunch of tags in XnView. LaterI renamed a folder directly in the Finder file manager. Now in XnView I can see the images in the new folder but they don't have the tags. If I search for the file names in XnView I find a bunch of ...

Re: Lost all settings after installing v 1.0
Aha! That was the key. When I go to that folder through the app it shows the .ini file PLUS another XnView.db file. For whatever reason, those files weren't showing up when I used Finder (even when I said to search system files and invisible files). So, it ended up being that I did indeed install it ...

Re: Lost all settings after installing v 1.0
No, I don't remember - I'm not even sure if I didn't use the defaults last time.
I searched for "xnview.ini" and "xnview" and did not find an ini file. I did find one "XnView.db". The records in the "tags" table seem to be intact. For example, I have a parent record 83 ("Photos") that has multiple ...

Re: Slideshow Zoom and Pan
I didn't realize there were two slideshows. I'm talking about when I select all the pictures I want to see in a slideshow then click the "slideshow" button in the toolbar. A dialog box pops up with the options, the I click "ok". Once the slideshow starts I'd like to be able to zoom and pan.

Lost all settings after installing v 1.0
Hi,
I was prompted that there was a new version, so I downloaded v 1 and ran the DMG file. However, when I ran it the first time it prompted me for the catalog locations. I'm not sure if I used the default locations or not last time, but I did choose the default locations this time. I lost all my ...

Slideshow Zoom and Pan
Hi, I was searching around the forums for how to zoom and pan during a slideshow. It seems like there are quite a few people looking for this functionality. I also get a feeling that the developers of XnView MP don't understand why we would like that type of functionality in a slideshow (which ...

Both the workaround and the ini change worked. Thanks so much for the answers from both of you! This is a huge time saver!

Favorites view not showing as folder tree
Hi, I'm using XnView MP MacOSX Version 0.99.7 64bits (Jan 13 2022). In my "favorites" panel it only shows the root folder of what I added as a favorite. I cannot expand that folder. I would prefer if it showed it as collapsible folders like the "folders" view so I can traverse the folder structure ...
