Re: Convert PNG to WEBP loses EXIF Data
Also seems to happen with PNG -> AVIF batch conversions despite selecting keep metadata. I realize this isn't the author's fault probably, I'm sure something in my production chain isn't using international standards that they should be using. But since the author of this software is very nearly a ...

Re: QHD / 4K Screens
Possibly also applies to Windows (10, in my case). 4k/200%. But it's possible I haven't fully exhausted all the Settings that might pertain to this.

Re: Zoom with mouse
I have easy-to-use zoom in my XNView software, not sure why yours doesn't have ... what might actually be the default: Right mouse button held down while scrolling. I don't remember setting that as a custom option but .... that is a remote possibility. I believe it's default though.

Re: Set a lower CPU process priority for batch conversions
I've always got some unreasonably large PNG files that could do with a more efficient lossless format such as AVIF. Let's see how well OP's method works... by the way, I find PNG -> AVIF (Speed 3) to be about -38% file size on average. I'd like to someday losslessly transcode my JPG files as well ...

Re: Set a lower CPU process priority for batch conversions
This would be a useful feature, indeed. The nuanced difference vis-a-vis "# of CPU cores" is also something the typical user might not understand, but developers, power users, etc. they'll definitely understand the elegance of cpu priority as an adjunct resource arbiter. In my case, it would find ...

Re: Read x pictures ahead
This would be useful for me especially in the following circumstance, I believe:
I have folders full of .avif image files which are slow to decode -- often, I view one image full-screen and scroll to and fro looking for a specific image -- and this can be quite frustrating because of this newer ...

That is perfectly fine. By the way -- thank you so much for this software. It's perfect for me, we must be on similar wavelengths.

Multi-core folder thumbnails generation
Which settings are useful towards speeding up folder thumbnails generation? I have a 12 core processor, I'm eager to see it flex its power to speed through this process. It would be ideal if quality did not degrade, however. Is that asking the impossible or is this dream just a matter of settings ...
