I'm sorry, it seems I put this in the wrong thread.

I was referring to XnConvert's "Actions —> Add Action" menu tree.

Is there a simple way to move this thread to the XnConvert topic?

I didn't see this on the first four pages (of 84!) that had "actions" in them, so I hope this isn't a duplicate.

It would be nice if one were able to add custom actions to this menu, perhaps as simple as a shell script.

Then, one could make specialized use of things like Image Magick or exiftool ...

Love the contact sheet function, but it makes me select a directory to save the contact sheet to. This is true, even if I choose the "File List" tab and choose an entire directory.

What I'd like is to store the contact sheet in the same directory as the images being collected into a contact sheet ...

Is there any way to add XnView to the Finder contextual menu "Open With…"?

At present, I can do "Open With —> Other…" and then scroll to the bottom of the Standard File Dialog and pick XnView, but what a pain!

I can edit .plist files, if that's what it takes and if you can steer me to the right ...
