Love the contact sheet function, but it makes me select a directory to save the contact sheet to. This is true, even if I choose the "File List" tab and choose an entire directory.
What I'd like is to store the contact sheet in the same directory as the images being collected into a contact sheet. I have tens of thousands of images arranged in directories, with one contact sheet per directory. (Muliple sheets in the same directory if they overflow the size of one sheet.)
Is there any way to make it auto-select the directory within which the images come from? I have browsed and searched around here, and haven't seen this question answered.
If not, might that be a good enhancement request?

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.7.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
