Image "Busting" out of thumbnail

See attached screen capture.

Note: the file is in a folder named "Buttons." If I move the file to another folder, or simply rename the folder it's already in, then this error seems to go away.

Very weird, right?

Apparently, the aforementioned parameter changes are retained across sessions if the Options dialogue is entered from the Browser screen.

So... case closed.

Batch Processing » General tab » Output section (Format: JPG - JPEG / JFIF) » Options button » General:Read/Write . . . make changes » exit out of XnView » go back in . . . changes are not retained.

Such changes used to be retained across sessions. But somehow, something has changed. I've tried ...

I think it is a representation of what the 'print size' would be like at 100%.
Hmmm... I suspect you're right. The thought had occurred to me after I posted my question.

Thing is, though... it's size on the screen is certainly smaller than 4x6" which is the size of the prints that accompanied the ...

What does "Real size" mean?

When viewing an image, and selecting "Real size," I get a view of my (1280x800) image at 32%. I would have expected to get a zoom level of 100%. I assume XnView is working properly and I simply lack the proper understanding of what "Real size" means.

Could anyone explain this to me?
