Hell yea! that was it.
Typically there is a notification the first time you access something and don't have permission on MacOS. Wonder if it's the OS that triggers that or the application?

I have a network drive alias mounted on my desktop and in the volumes folder. I have it mounted as smp://DS1621Main/Photo
Finder | Go | Connect to Server... | smb://DS1621Main/photo | Selcect "Connect" button.
Adds it to my "Mac Studio" location in the Finder.

I vote for the ability to slow down the mouse scroll from Mac OS as well. It'll go 500 rows down with a very small movement of your finger.
