I have a network drive alias mounted on my desktop and in the volumes folder. I have it mounted as smp://DS1621Main/Photo
Finder | Go | Connect to Server... | smb://DS1621Main/photo | Selcect "Connect" button.
Adds it to my "Mac Studio" location in the Finder.
Open XnView MP 1.71 64-bit. Go to Volumes, see the share listed as "Photos" with a ">" next to it. Click it, ">" goes away and only the ".." parent directory is listed.
This is a Synology DS1621+ drive.
What am I missing here?
Network drive mounted:
Opening in Mac Finder:
Viewing in XnView
Clicking it - nothing

Hell yea! that was it.
Typically there is a notification the first time you access something and don't have permission on MacOS. Wonder if it's the OS that triggers that or the application?
