Right. As a workaround i will exclude GIF files from my workstream. A better solution would work with animated GIFs correctly.

I understand. BUT: the GIF is after the operation smaller than before - i assume it contains only frame 1. That means that not only metadata were removed but frames 2+ too. And this is not a wanted behaviour.

Not sure whether this is a bug or a feature - but a bad surprise!

what about a feature, that supports file operations (move, copy, rename, delete, …) due to found exif information (width, height, …) in a file collection?

Es wäre schön, wenn man die Dateien eines Ordners (optional inkl. Unterordnern) abhängig von EXIF-Daten (Breite, Höhe, Farbtiefe, ...) verschieben, kopieren, löschen, umbenennen... könnte!
