Re: GPS format

I can try MP and check it out. Basically what I want to do is add a text version of the of coordinates on the photo for future reference.
I ruin across a lot of stuff out on the road and it would be nice to have a location of something so I can use my "real camera".
Thanks for the reply!

Re: GPS format

Uniformity between equipment, and software. It is much faster to enter DD.dddd than DD:MM:SS.
That is pretty much my logic.

GPS format

I was trying to add GPS info to some photos as text. I figured it out finally, but I noticed something I wanted to change in the format. Instead of the DD:MM:SS format I would prefer a decimal format DD.dddddd format is there a way to change this?

Re: Where is the text tool?

Yeah the font is correct, I did some digging and figured out what was going on, it still doesn't work, but now I know why, apparently Photoshop deletes all of the metadata, when you export as jpg, I don't know who's bright idea that was but i don't like it.

I need to change exif date taken

Yesterday I took some images on my way to work, when I got home and went to geolocate the images, nothing lined up. After a bit of investigation I found that when I changed the date in my camera, I neglected to confirm that the year was 2010, not 2009.
Is there a way in XNView to change the date ...

It would be a nice feature indeed, I have some other software that handle this situation this way: dcp001 (original image), dcp001_1 (image after alteration)

OK let me rephrase the question. If I check the box the program asks me if I want to replace the image, if I uncheck the check box, the program asks me if I want to replace the image.
In other words, the after 'save as' change filename doesn't appear to work. what do I need to do to make the ...
