Create Video button greyed out

What do I need to do to create video from the slide show dialog?
I selected 10 images added fade transitions, but the create video button is grayed out, is there a plugin I need?

Hmm, I just stumbled over the same problem and had no idea why the button was greyed out until I found the answer, here.

It would be better if the user could click on the "Create video" button and a message would be shown if the add-on was not installed.
