I didn't try this when I downloaded the betas and RCs
Now with 1.90 (zip file) I have set 'launch browser at startup' to my desktop. While xnview is open I browser different folders and close xnview, next time I open the program it briefly shows last folder I was browsing before jumping to my ...

Thanx again :) Yes with your test file too, same behaviour as I saw with mine.
And yes for me its ok when I take all non-images out (just in case in matters other than .txt there is .html, .doc, .db and .epim (both are contact manager database files))

Thanx its ok, I figured it out but my 2 points were


-for screen capture the default is capture-1, capture-2 etc and I have to change the option to make it capture_DATE

-why the default requires extra action of saving the capture
