...have now just built an XP based RIG and the same problem i mainly use this for using the clipboard when using OPERA(which doesnt allow dragging to folder as does FIREFOX etc)

........is there a way that i have missed?? :?:

i have that set and it works well for dragging and saving although what i usually do is close and reopen to do the same thing

but doesnt work for "copying from the clipboard" which always tries to save to the "last saved previous folder"

.i am currently using Win2000 Pro

saving from the clipboard

....hi all
what i want to do is after copying from the clipboard is to be able to save in the browser folder that I'M WORKING IN
(sometimes i have a few instances of xnview open at once)instead of a previously saved file from another earlier saving folder

........OOOPS
right after i sent the above i found the "purge" button and ticked it now always opens and saves in the current folder

.......but i still think a PRINTSCREEN BUTTON '( for utilising the clipboard as screengrab for movies being viewed in the same folder) would be good :D

"SAVE AS" in current open folder

....HI ALL....."SAVE AS" in current open folder.
dont know if this has been suggested already(i have searched) but for me would be the icing on the cake of an incredible EXCELLENT proggy
as i use XN to open just about any media i am most times a long way away from the last "saved to" folder
so ...
