saving from the clipboard

Post by 3D23 »

....hi all
what i want to do is after copying from the clipboard is to be able to save in the browser folder that I'M WORKING IN
(sometimes i have a few instances of xnview open at once)instead of a previously saved file from another earlier saving folder

.......at the moment i will be asked to save in another earlier saved position which could be on another harddrive inside a heap of folders so it gets very frustrating that havent got the option to "save in this folder" when asking to "save as"

.....pretty well my only complaint on a wonderful program :D
You need to activate the For 'Save as', use same original pathname & format setting in Tools » Options... » General » File Operations.
........hi helmut, :D
i have that set and it works well for dragging and saving although what i usually do is close and reopen to do the same thing

but doesnt work for "copying from the clipboard" which always tries to save to the "last saved previous folder"

.i am currently using Win2000 Pro
