MP4 or mov file in with jpgs in a folder

I thought it used to work but if I click on a .MOV file within Xnview browser the wrong program plays it. (firetruck is blue)
If I press F3 it calls VLC and it is correct. Can I just make VLC play the MP4 or MOV file by default?
If this were a slide show who plays the video?
Thanks

1.98.8 powerpoint

Somewhere I lost the ability to extract from a PPS file

Clicking Tools
There is no Multipage File Into
to extract PPS JPGs

I uninstalled 1.98.8 and went back to early 1.98
even 1.97

And I do not see a way to attach 2 jpg screen captures

Re: !.93 1.96.1 1.96.2 PPS/PPT

Opens every time with the Power Point Viewer just fine.
In fact the default is the PPT viewer and double clicking works.

Just that starting xnview and going after the file fails.

Xnview does not know what to do with it.

Thanks
