Thanks, xnview, for your help :D

I was using web templates from XnView 1.90.2 with charset=iso-8859-1 instead of charset=utf-8 used by XnView 1.96.2. With the templates that come with 1.96.2 it the character coding seems to be OK.

I have created two web pages, one with XnView 1.90.2 with correct coding of Swedish characters and one with XnView 1.96.2 with incorrect coding of Swedish characters. As you can see, the characters are correctly displayed in the IPTC Caption field of the original image but incorrectly coded in ...
