This leads me to believe that this must have something to do with the postscript format produced nconvert .

Optional settings for writing postscript?
I am trying to batch print a large number of tiff (g4) files to a postscript printer. I do this by calling nconvert like this:
nconvert.exe -quiet -out ps -o \\computer\spool c:\Temp\faximage.tif
The job spools and reaches the printer but doesn't print since the printer still shows the message ...

The problem is that jbig2dec is supposed to be used ONLY when you have a .jb2 extension...

Well, I'll hold off disabling the plugin and will try to figure out a way to reproduce it. Nothing strange going on here systemwise. 100% spyware & virus free. No weird software running in the background scanning things or the like.
