Strange, i've never had this problem. Unreadable with xnview too?
Could you try again if you have it always?
And try with 1.96.1.
I'm able to open it with xnview, but not with Photoshop 6.
It is reproduceable - always.
With 1.96.1 the problem is gone. Perhaps I should add, that I use the zip ...

Input of IPTC-data damages images
Hallo I use xnview 1.96 and Photoshop 6.0
After I put IPTC-data with xnview, the images became unreadable with Photshop 6.0.
It then says "could document not open, unexpected EOF (End of File)"
But if I delete the IPTC-data (overwriting with nothing), the images are readable again (uff!). Anyway ...

Hello,
i use two versions of photoshop, one at work (v7.0) and one at home (v6.0). Now I´m at home and I see the version at home has a different layout of the IPTC-data windows. There the content written with the one program appears in the correct fields of the other program as I would expect them ...

Problems with IPTC fields using xnview and Photoshop
hallo,
if I write the IPTC-fields with xnview they are not mapped in a useful way to corresponding fields when using e.g. photoshop and vice versa.
I don`t know much about standards but I had assumed that for example "Title" in xnview means the same as in Photoshop.

i just want to update my xnview but before I should uninstall the current version. But there ist no "uninstall.exe", no button "uninstall xnview" in START-menue and there also is no item "xnview" within "Software" in my system control.
